Hello! My name is Bridgit Loftis-Jenkins, and I am proud to be an A.W. Brown Leadership Academy Eagle!!I have been in the field of education for 27 years. This is my third year at A.W. Brown Leadership Academy. During my teaching career I have taught grades 1st through 5th grade. I currently teach 5th grade English/ Language Arts.

I earned my Bachelor Degree in Education from Paul Quinn College in 1993. I am certified to teach grades 1st-8th grade. I am also certified as an English as a Second Language Generalist (EC-4th grade), as well as, a Master Reading Teacher(EC-12th grade).

Every day when I step through my classroom door it is my goal to make a positive impact on my scholars. My role is to teach my scholars through example to be kind, respectful, humble, patient, and determined. Teaching is a commitment I take very seriously. I set high, but clear and appropriate expectations for all my scholars and will assist them in using their knowledge and abilities to meet those expectations. I believe my enthusiasm and dedication I have for my profession sets a standard for my scholars.
