Education

Due to my many interests, I have a diverse educational background. I entered the workforce as a licensed cosmetologist. I am also a licensed laser hair removal technician. I received an Associate's Degree in Fashion Design from The Art Institute in 2006, and a Bachelor's Degree from The University of North Texas (Denton) in 2009. My interest in education and passion for having a positive impact on youth led me to Texas Teachers, and I began my career in education in 2014. My certifications include General Education EC-6 and ESL Supplemental.

Bio

During my fifteen years in the workforce, I have developed strong interpersonal, management, and leadership skills that will enable me to contribute to AWBLA and the success of its scholars. I have taught elementary aged students for the past four years, and I look forward to continuing my passion for making a difference in the lives of young individuals.
